I’m a journalist and writer currently based in Washington, DC, working as a digital editor at CNNPolitics. I previously lived in New York and worked as senior editor at NowThis. My background includes news, politics, business and culture, and I’ve worked across formats including text, video and social media. I have experience managing assignments and small teams. I’ve worked at a newspaper, magazine, broadcast companies and start-ups — aka I’ve seen it all.
My essays and features have been published at publications including Lapham’s Quarterly, Racked, HuffPost, CityLab, The Daily Beast and The Week.
I value mentorship inside and outside the newsroom and have spent the last four years volunteering with the premiere writing organization for teenagers in New York City, Girls Write Now. I previously authored a semi-regular newsletter about women’s media called Clipped.
